Professional and Continuing Studies earns five national awards
In recognition of their high-quality design, communications and marketing work, members of the University of Delaware’s Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (UD PCS) were recently honored with five national awards at the annual University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) Marketing and Enrollment Management Seminar in Long Beach, California.
Selected from hundreds of submissions received by UPCEA, winning entries exhibited excellence in 25 categories across eight divisions: Print Publications, Print Advertising, Outdoor/Exhibit Signage, Broadcast Advertising, Mixed Media Campaign, Most Improved, Strategic Recruitment Marketing Plan, and Interactive Media.
Members of the UD PCS marketing and communications and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) teams earned a silver award in the Mixed Media Campaign category for their Osher Lifelong Learning Institute website rebuild. The marketing and communications team earned silver awards in the Print Publications category for its 2017 Impact Report, Fall 2018 Guide to Programs, and the Teach (Virtually) Everything postcard and custom virtual reality goggles for UD’s Summer Institute on Teaching. The UD PCS marketing and communications team also earned a bronze award in the Print Advertising category for its New Opportunities Ahead magazine ad.
“I am continuously impressed by the promotional pieces produced by the marketing and communications professionals within UD PCS,” said Steven Kendus, UD PCS manager of marketing and communications. “We’re honored to receive such praise, recognition and feedback from our continuing education peers, and we take pride in the fact that our products are communicating the value of professional and continuing education to prospective students of all ages.”
