Comprehensive four-day program offers in-person expert instruction
The University of Delaware Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (UD PCS) SAT Summer Institute is a comprehensive course designed to help students prepare for the SAT exam. This four-day institute provides 16 hours of in-person expert instruction aimed at enhancing test-taking skills and boosting student confidence. Early registration is recommended as seats are limited.
UD PCS will hold two SAT Summer Institutes in 2025:
- July 21-24
- July 28-31
These in-person classes will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Thursday, at 501 South College Ave, Newark, Delaware.
An SAT Summer Institute provides:
- 16 hours of expert classroom instruction
- Experienced instructors
- A suite of digital materials embedded within the student portal that include real SAT practice questions and tests, as well as a course workbook
- Thorough presentations and explanations
- Access to online support resources
- Real SAT practice questions and tests
- A study plan
- Online office hours available for 120 days after the course ends
The program is open to rising juniors who are taking the test for the first time, seniors and other high school students who have already taken the exam but want to improve their scores and younger students who want early preparation for the SAT.
Various discounts are offered, including for Delaware residents and children of UD employees. Need-based financial aid is also available. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with preference given to submissions received at least three weeks prior to the applicable course start date.
