Dynamic Leadership
This comprehensive 13-week course designed to develop and enhance leadership skills is divided into three parts—Leading Self, Leading Others, and Leading the Organization. It combines self-paced (asynchronous) learning with live, facilitated sessions led by UD faculty and industry leaders.
Foundations of Project Management in Spanish
Taught in Spanish, this noncredit certificate program enhances project management skills by covering foundational concepts and best practices in predictive (Waterfall), adaptive (Agile), and hybrid project methods. Participants learn to define and execute projects effectively, acquiring practical tools and techniques applicable in the workplace.
Foundations of Python Programming
This noncredit certificate program is designed for beginners, covering fundamental concepts such as data types, control flow, object-oriented programming and more. Participants will gain hands-on experience through practical exercises and build their own Python applications. Whether you’re looking to kick-start a career in tech or simply explore a new skill, this course provides the perfect foundation for anyone with little or no programming experience.
Peak Trust Company Trust Management Certificate
This online noncredit certificate program is designed for any professional seeking a robust foundation for the fundamental knowledge required to work in the field of trust management. Developed with support from Peak Trust Company and leveraging expertise from UD’s Trust Management Minor in the Lerner College of Business and Economics, it addresses the legal, tax, compliance, investment and operations topics pertaining to managing trusts and and will prepare participants to enter the high-demand field of trust management.
Strategic Communication
The noncredit certificate program in strategic communication equips professionals with essential tools for crafting impactful messages in the modern digital sphere. Through this program, participants hone their skills in persuasive messaging and digital content creation. The program consists of two courses selected from the UD strategic communication master’s degree program plus two noncredit digital marketing courses offered through UD Professional and Continuing Studies.
Technical and Professional Writing
Focused on providing working professionals with the skills they need to meet and overcome any communication challenges they may encounter, this stackable certificate program covers concepts such as accessibility and usability, document and data design, and a broad range of applied topics in the field. It will include the following three courses, each of which will also be available for individual enrollment: Foundations of Technical and Professional Writing, Document Design and Data Visualization, and Advanced Topics in Technical Writing.
Virtual Beer Tasting and Appreciation
This 90-minute online personal enrichment course is for novice beer drinkers or seasoned enthusiasts who wish to deepen their understanding of beer, its history, production methods and diverse flavors. It features an instructor-led, virtually guided tasting session, combining theoretical knowledge with discussion and hands-on tasting. Participants purchase beer on their own if they wish to participate in the guided tasting.
