Learn about short-term professional development courses and certificate programs
Free live-online information sessions highlighting University of Delaware professional development programs will be held July 19-22, from 7-8 p.m., for interested participants to learn more about fall 2021 online programs offered by UD’s Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (UD PCS).
Providing high-level program overviews, the virtual information sessions give prospective students opportunities to ask questions of program faculty and staff and learn more about the programs.
The following short-term certificate programs and courses focused on helping professionals advance in their careers will be highlighted at the virtual information sessions:

- Clinical Trials Management
- Design Thinking
- Drone Pilot Training
- Foundations of R for Data Analysis
- IT Project Management
- Microsoft Excel (fundamentals to advanced)
- Nonprofit Management
- Occupational Safety (entry-level to managerial)
- Paralegal Institute (certificate program plus advanced seminars)
- Predictive Analytics and Data Mining
- Project Management
- Sales Operations Science
- Social Media Marketing (fundamentals to advanced)
- Telehealth Coordinator
- Women’s Leadership
Most UD PCS programs are currently offered online and can be completed in about three months. The online programs are offered in a live-online videoconferencing format, a flexible self-paced online format or a combination.
Payment plans, discounts or scholarships are available for most programs and include military, group and professional association discounts.
