Fall catalog lists professional development and lifelong learning opportunities
The fall 2020 program guide from the University of Delaware’s Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (UD PCS) is now available online.
Along with listings of upcoming business, healthcare, IT and legal courses, the publication highlights the resources and services UD PCS provides.
This semester, there is an increased emphasis on addressing challenges relating to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic environment and its economic realities. Efforts include expanded online programs; scholarships, payment plans and financial assistance options; as well as relevant programming for those wishing to upskill and update their resumes.
One such relevant offering is the free live-online Power Up Your Career Seminar Series, addressing topics like career transitions, job-search strategies, networking and virtual interviewing.
UD’s Division of Professional and Continuing Studies provides educational opportunities for anyone seeking to begin or complete their college education, enhance their professional skills or enrich their personal lives. UD PCS also provides customized training and educational services to area businesses, organizations and professional associations.
As the adult and nontraditional learners’ portal to the University of Delaware, PCS is home to more than 22,000 enrollments each year — including UD employees — through UD credit courses and degree offerings, professional development courses, certificate programs, specialized conferences, workshops and lifelong learning member cooperatives throughout the state.
Members of the public and the UD community are invited to learn more about fall programs at a series of free online information sessions held August 17-20 at 7 p.m.
