“After being away from nursing for twenty years it was a bit daunting going back to the ‘classroom.’ The course was hard work but worth it, and the faculty were always available to answer questions and to point me in the right direction. Their feedback was positive and encouraging every step of the way.”

“The main positive of this program was the fact that I could work at my own pace. I own my own little horse farm, so it was really important for me to be able to pick the times that I could sit down and get the work done. The online format for me was a challenge in the beginning, but my children showed me how to get started, and after that it was easy for me to navigate the rest of the program.”

Pat Aulgur is a registered nurse who completed UD’s web-based RN Refresher course. She completed her clinical rotation at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore where she was later hired, and has since served as a clinical preceptor for another UD RN Refresher participant.
