The University of Delaware’s Division of Professional and Continuing Studies is in the early planning and development stages for a conference on the subject of substance abuse prevention. We anticipate that this program will offer contact hours applying to the Delaware nursing continuing education requirement for substance abuse.

New substance abuse continuing education requirement in Delaware

Delaware Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations now require RNs and LPNs to complete continuing education (CE) on substance abuse. Starting with next renewal, at least three of the required contact hours must be in the area of substance abuse.
