“I had been away from working as a paralegal for over ten years when I started researching certificate programs. I was looking for one that would help me get my resume and experience up to date so I could reenter the legal field. Having already earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware, this program felt like the right fit for me. I also liked that it could be completed in under a year.”

“The program is small so we got a lot of valuable class participation and one-on-one time with the instructors, who were all knowledgeable, accessible, approachable and willing to help in any way.”

“I am now working as a paralegal for Children and Youth Services in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. We assist with the legal documents in an effort to expedite the legal process for children in foster care who may need adoption, permanent placement or reunification with their family. I enjoy having a job in the legal field that also helps people.”
